Original watercolor by John Absolon (Br. 1815-1895) framed and under glass. Framed size roughly 27" x 22" and front image size roughly 17" x 13". Hand signed and titled in pencil. This is an original authentic mid 1800's painting and not a modern fake or reproduction. Important 19th century artist whose works sell well into the thousands of dollars in auction over the last two decades. Very good condition. French Victorian gilt frame has some minor damage but still in good condition. Original wavey glass.
