This is one of ten oil paintings that the artist has given us for sale to begin with. The artist is Rachid Mouhsine, born 1958 in Casablanca, later living/working in France, then the U.S. It is perhaps more appealing than his more extravagant abstracts, this one depicting a female human being as a flower, very cleverly done. In studying the flower petals, you can discern a face, arm, leg. It is among the smaller of his paintings, done on white ceiling tile, 10-1/2"h x 32"w, unframed.
