Ended Acrylic painting, fairies at water's edge

This is a modern painting, acrylic on canvas, signed "Joan Mitchell", fairly large size, 24" high x 36" wide, depicting three fairies huddling together, dipping their feet into the water, a basket tied with blue ribbon on the left, a frog sitting on a rock lower right, birds in flight in woodland in right midplane, mounted in a fairly elaborate molded goldtone frame, 4-1/2" wide.
