With more than 10 years experience as a professional artist Andrew Briggs has matured and evolved through working on various projects with individuals that have brought different perspectives and expertise. He has worked alongside architects, engineers and fellow artists on small to large-scale projects. All of these people have supported his growth as an artist and helped to shape his practice and expand his view of the world.
Andrew's subject matter primarily includes local modern and historical architecture, streetscapes, landscapes, and abstracts. He uses both archival pictures and photographs that are taken directly and then manipulated to raise or hide light and shadows; flattening or creating depth in the image. His work with Kate Moss is stunningly brilliant and tremendously captivating. The colors in this painting undoubtedly raise one's pressure since they stimulate and develop a keen sense of interest in the work to those who are lucky enough to view it, allowing a story to unfold that speaks to all.
Mr. Briggs' work can be tailored for interior, exterior and public spaces and states that "No project is too small". He is an artists' artist and loves the unconventional and the grandiose.
