In the Whispering Woods area of Millcreek is where you’ll find our super modern online auction, starting February 17th. It’s far and away the most modern sale we’ve ever conducted in this area.
After graduating from Strong Vincent and Penn State, the gentleman moved to California amassing an enriching career in industrial design, working at the highest level for companies such as Fender Guitar and Wolf Gourmet, now owned by Sub-Zero.
He returned to his beloved hometown of Erie in retirement, becoming a Strong Vincent historian, an ambassador to the city, as well as a volunteer at the PI Lighthouse.
Inspired by modern design, he brought many of his furnishings, sculptures and decor to his lovely home in Erie. For lovers of modern, you’ll have the rare chance to locally bid and hopefully win some of these amazing items to be appreciated as he had.
If you really explore the details of some of the offerings, you’ll discover the earthy vibes which are attributed to growing up and being inspired by Lake Erie as well as his many years in California.
Personally, I was never able to meet the gentleman, but I’m sure we would have connected simply based on our love for music, Penn State, Lake Erie, and art. Hopefully you are able to find a connection with some of these items as well and appreciate them as he had.
