MONDAY NIGHT: As announced this morning, SHOULD the weather end up being unsafe for travel tomorrow, we would plan on re-scheduling the second day of our sale for later in the week. HOWEVER, we are going to go forward as usual tomorrow . We are confident the bad weather will not set in until sometime in the afternoon tomorrow. HOWEVER, WE WILL OPEN AT 8:30 TUESDAY MORNING AND WILL CLOSE THE SALE AT 11:00. One of several B.B. Craig face jugs. Mr. Craig died in 2002 at the age of 88 and is known as the Dean of contemporary folk potters in N. Carolina. His pottery is in the permanent collection at the Smithsonian, the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, NC, and numerous other museums. He was honoredwith the National Folk Heritage Award by the National Endowment for the Arts in 1984.
