Important Summer Fine Art Sale

Clars Auctions will be featuring an array of exceptional highlights in their Important Summer Fine Art Sale on June 20th. One of the most exciting works in the sale is a rare oil on canvas by the Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dali (1904-1989) titled Portrait of Mrs. Luther Greene. This painting was commissioned by the sitter’s husband in New York City in 1942 (which was also the year of the artist’s first retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art).
