Sale proceeds to benefit the Deborah L Newton Legacy Endowment which funds annual Deborah Newton Awards (to a 7th/8th grade student and to an accomplished adult artist in perpetuity - https://cfnil.org/deborah-newton-legacy-endowment Deborah was an accomplished and prolific visual artist in Rockford creating between 1700 and 3000 artworks in her lifetime. She conceived of what is now known as Rockford's bi-annual ArtScene.
