Lot#1001, GERMAN SILVER PRESENTATION COVERED CUP, 19TH C., H 25", DIA 7"A 19th century silver goblet form cup having dome cover with bird finial. Classical frieze decorates cup itself which rests on caryatid cluster of three maidens. Tiered base. Hallmarks on cover and foot, including "13", indicating .812 fineness (see additional photo). Eagle finial. Underside of cover is gold plated. Weighs approximately 54.4 troy oz.

Lot#1002, CARL THIEME, DRESDEN PORCELAIN COVERED URN, C. 1900, H 27", W 15"Painted at the front and back with figures in a landscape, flanked by molded ram's mask handles, floral adornments at the base, and surmounted by a pierced cover centered by three roses, blue mark at the underside for Carl Thieme, Saxonian Porcelain Factory, Potschappel-Dresden, Germany, circa 1888-1901 (see additional photo).

One titled "Hebe", the other "Ganymede". From the French inspired mansion of Anna Thomson Dodge, Grosse Pointe, Michigan. From the collection of Baron J. F. Maurice Dudevant. Jean-François-Maurice-Arnauld, Baron Dudevant, better known as Maurice Sand (June 30, 1823 in Paris-September 4, 1889). Two sculptures.

Bronze tongue and dart molding; scroll bronze feet; bronze lion masks around crystal font; Greek key molding around bottom rim of shade. Shade is of hand cut crystal beads.
