This Finnish family settled in Kaleva in 1910 where the grandparents met and married then moved to Detroit but returned in 1946 to buy the eighty-acre Kaleva farm where our client was raised. He grew up, got his engineering degree at Wayne State and worked in the bustling auto industry in Detroit in the 1960’s. He returned to Kaleva with his young family and eventually purchased the lovely home where our sale is set.
