Description & Details

Fabulous estate sale, near the Village of Milford, offering a wide variety of items...but, especially items for anyone who is into woodworking or art....The gentleman who lived there was a fine woodworker/carpenter and loved aviation....and made toy airplanes and tons of items that are for sale in the home...The garage is just loaded with lumber/carpenter-hobbyist pieces of milled wood (see photos)...We have not gotten into it yet, but have been told there are many different types of hardwoods, including walnut and some wide plank, solid pieces of wood that you can not find anymore...We saw some pieces that are approx....

Beautiful 1801 Oak Welsh dresser...Georgian period...George III...Gothic arched cabinet doors on either side..spice cupboards...plate rack...initials on both sides..in cabinet on edge of shelf "WG*1801"

Welsh dresser signed or initialed by William Gates, a royal cabinet maker who supplied commodes fo the Prince of Wales,later known as George IV for his apartment at the Queens House, St. James Park, later rebuilt as Buckingham Palace.
