Pictures coming soon! Very interesting family business. The family business began in 1925 in Kansas City by a great aunt Tena Mae Dowd, aunt to the current estate sale owners. Then their grandparents opened another Green Parrot restaurant next door to our sale, in October 1938 {featured picture}. Their parents and the kids worked and ran this local business for many years. Another aunt named Vira opened a 3rd Green Parrot restaurant, in Houston in 1952. Wonderful family business in 3 locations!
