This is an eclectic sale with a variety of items for sale. It is in the heart of Compton Heights--just a little bit east of the famous Magic Chef House on Russell. Before we get into the sale details, I wanted you to know that the home is also for sale. Here is a brief history: The 4,900 square foot home was completed in 1895 by architect Theodore Link (architect of St. Louis Union Station) on behalf of owner Louisa Anheuser, sister-in-law of Lillian Anheuser who married Adolphus Busch of the Anheuser-Busch family. Parlor: A three-piece late 1800's AMERICAN EMPIRE parlor set; the settee is 63" long. All of the feet are large claws. The rug [originally purchased at RUG WORLD in Brentwood] has colors of blue and tan and measures 6' 1" x 9' 5." The lamp to the left of the settee is a Victorian style lamp in creamy white with gold designs.

Parlor: Large [reproduction] Frederic Remington "Bronco Buster." Sculpture alone (without base measurement) is 18" tall X 20" wide. Attached base is 18" long X 6-1/2" wide.

Parlor: A second antique AMERICAN EMPIRE 3-piece parlor set includes a 44" settee; the beautiful red/cream/taupe area rug was purchased from RUG WORLD in Brentwood and measures 6' 1" x 9' 5." The parlor set has lion heads at the top of each chair's crest-rail and lion paw feet (closer photos are coming up). To the left is a reproduction Tiffany [16 lights] tulip lamp which sits on a turned leg parlor table.
