The panels on cover, sides and base enamel in translucent blue on a ground of wavy scalloped reeded engine-turning creating a moir� aspect. There are gold star�s on top of the blue enamel with hand painted portraits. The lid set central hand painted enamel picture with two men with a dog along with a woman sitting next to a spinning wheel. The wheel is the automata. The watch is set in the middle of the picture.
