The Estate of Lorenzo "Bobby" Adams Jr., (member of Early 50's Doo-wop Group the Calvanes), passed away on Saturday June 13th, 2026. The Calvanes, recording with "Dootone" Records, were one of the very 1st Doo-Wop groups and were credited with developing the Doo-Wop sound. Bobby, who was loved by all who knew him, later became a policeman and bodyguard for LA Mayor Tom Bradley, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and his very best friend Lionel Ritchie and many other major stars and celebrities.
