Model of a WWI Era British Sopwith Tabloid (N1205) Plane: A model of a WWI era British Sopwith Tabloid (N1205) plane. This plane features a wood framed body covered in a waxed paper with metal suspension rods and nose. It is accented with Royal Air Force Roundels painted on both the wings and body of the plane. The cockpit of the plane also features a hand painted dashboard and controls.The numbers “1205” are painted on the lower half of the body and the tail is painted with blue, white, and red stripes. Also hand painted on the tail is “The Sopwith Aviation Company Ltd. Kingston on Thames”.

Johann-Hermann Carmiencke Oil Painting on Canvas: An oil painting on canvas by Germany painter Johann-Hermann Carmiencke (1810-1867). This landscape painting depicts a rushing river framed by rocky shores and full trees. Two figures stand on a boulder to the left of the river with one figure pointing out towards the water. The background of this painting is filled with a cloudy blue sky above a large mountain. The painting is signed and dated in the bottom right corner and is presented in a gilded wooden frame. Johann-Hermann Carmiencke was a German-born landscape painter and print maker. Notably, Carmiencke served as court painter to the King of Denmark from 1846-1851. After his tenure with the Danish Crown, Carmiencke settled in the United States where he became associated with the Hudson River School. For more information, please see the link below.

Clyde's Restaurant Sign: A building sign for the historic DC area restaurant group, Clyde’s. This metal sign is gold tone in color with black edges and features the Clyde’s name in its signature font. Metal posts to the back of the sign allow for attaching the sign to a building.

Custom Made Miniature Mercedes Benz Roadster Car: A custom made miniature Mercedes Benz Roadster. This car features a silver fiberglass exterior, cream leather seat, wooden dashboard, four Michelin tires, a Momo road wheel, a Fitchel & Sachs motor, and a 47cu cm engine. The vehicle is labeled “Mercedes Benz” on the grill and all four hubcaps. The engine is located in the trunk of the car and is marked “Fitchel & Sachs AG Schweinfurt Mot. No. 11100323 Hub. R 47 TYP Sachs 50/ADLX”.

Gustav Dentzel Hand-Carved Reindeer Sculpture: An early 20th century hand-carved Dentzel reindeer sculpture in its original finish. This piece was made by German carousel builder Gustav Dentzel who started the American company, the Dentzel Carousel Company in 1867. This piece is carved from wood and depicts a reindeer mid-gallop. The sculpture features glass eyes, real eight-point antlers, and hand-painted details on the face and ears. A fabric harness is attached to the face and a red rope with bells is hanging off the ear. The reindeer is mounted on a black metal pole attached to a rectangular base.

Antique Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Flask: An antique Tiffany & Co. sterling silver flask. This flask is oval in shape with an elaborately decorated floral and foliate design on the front and part of the back. This design frames a discretely placed monogram. The lid is decorated in a matching design and is a hinged screw top. The flask is marked to the underside “Tiffany & Co. 4705 Makers 6561 Sterling Silver 925-1000 1 Gill”. The total approximate weight, inclusive of all materials, is 4.530 ozt.

Hunt Slonem Oil Painting on Board: An oil painting on board by Hunt Slonem (1951). In several shades of blue, this painting depicts a pair of birds perched on a branch surrounded by other foliage. The artist uses heavy impasto to create a contrast between vertical and horizontal lines throughout the painting. It is signed and dated 2010 to the back of the board and presented in a gold tone wooden frame. Hunt Slonem is an American artist and member of the Neo-Expressionist art movement. His work, often featuring tropical elements such as birds, was largely inspired by his time in Nicaragua. For more information see the link below.

Model of a British Harvard (AT-6) WWII Era Plane: A model of a WWII era British Harvard (AT-6) plane. This model features a wooden body painted in a camouflage pattern with a Royal Air Force roundel on either side of the body with “FE992” and a red, white, and blue vertical flag on the tail. Blue and red roundels are painted on the wings.

Antique Cash Register by The National Cash Register Company: An antique cash register by the National Cash Register Company. A paper tag on the bottom of the drawer states that this register is dated May 27, 1914 with the serial number 1414376. It was custom built for Deuthorn & Seider of Buffalo New York and sold by H. O. Whipple. The model # 359 features the “Dolphin” pattern on the brass metal cabinet, accented with wood base, marble shelf, and two spring rigged cash drawers.

Framed Washington Brand Exeter Orange Growers Association Crate Label: A framed Washington Brand Exeter Orange Growers Association crate label. This offset lithograph depicts the Washington Monument from across the reflecting pool. The capital is also visible in the distance. Across the top of the label “Washington” is printed in capital letters with the word “Brand” printed in smaller text below it. In the same area, “Grown & Packed by Exeter Orange Growers Association Exeter- California U.S.A.” is printed in red letters. This label is presented in a silver tone metal frame, under glass.

Vintage Mahogany Sailing Canoe: A vintage mahogany sailing canoe. This canoe features an elongated body made of mahogany planks bolted together. It comes with a mast, boom, and single oar. A label attached reads “Sailing Canoe in Mahogany Circa 1930 — made in Ohio Has mast, boom, and keel”.

Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Flask with Removable Cup: A Tiffany & Co. sterling silver monogrammed flask. This flask has an oval shaped body and a screw top, hinged lid. The front of the flask is decorated with a scrolling floral and foliate design with the initials “HBK” sprawled across the front in a matching design. The bottom half of the flask removes to serve as a cup for the flask. Under the cup, the bottom of the flask is marked “Tiffany & Co. 2811M 26 Sterling 2 Gill”. The total approximate weight, inclusive of all materials, is 9.485 ozt.
