Spanning 244 lots, the second installment of the Jacobsen collection is led by a 1989 St. Louis faceted double overlay numbered 18 of 50, its red over white casing cut in an allover gingham of squares and diamonds that opens onto an upright bouquet of coral, pink, white and blue lampwork blooms above a rosette of green leaves. Beside it stands an early Paul Stankard floral engraved experimental 1977 and signed with his letter S cane, a working piece from the years when the maker was still resolving the botanical style that would define him.
