Featured is a Jenny Lind trunk. When the family home caught fire, the trunk survived because the daughter entered the burning house to retrieve it—her trousseau safely inside. Another very rare find are two (2) slipper chairs. According to family history, this slipper chair is believed to have belonged to a Confederate general.
