100 Apache Tears - An obsidian, translucent Rock When Polished in a rock tumbler taking weeks or even months to relieve the natural characteristics of this unusual stone.
Apache tears are small, rounded nodules after polishing are dark-brown, usually found in the American Southwest, especially Arizona and Nevada. They form when volcanic lava cools so quickly that it traps pockets of gas, creating smooth, glassy stones when polished in a tumbler that can appear opaque until held to the light, where they often reveal a smoky translucence. In folklore, they’re said to represent the grief of Apache women mourning fallen warriors, which gives them a strong cultural resonance. Today, people value them both as collectible natural minerals, often used in jewelry or jewelry making and as symbols of resilience, protection, and emotional grounding.
Their natural translucence makes them attractive in pendants, earrings, and wire‑wrapped pieces, especially in Southwestern‑style designs. Buying Multiple Items From This Sale - If you buy two or more items that have a shipping cost on each item and we place all the items in a single package we will refund the difference of what you paid when checking out for shipping and our fees for shipping the items to you if our costs were less than what you paid when checking out. You will get a notice that we refunded the shipping for $XXXX when shipped.

Buying Art or Fragile Items - When shipping cost are known and we have the capabilities of shipping those items safely we will have a shipping price on the item or FREE shipping. If it is a store pick up item, we will state that. However, if you want the item shipped, we can and will offer that service. Contact us and let us know that you want the item shipped, give us your name, address and type of contact. Once the item is paid for, we will take your purchases to the local UPS store, give them your contact information and they will contact you as to for the type of shipping you want, collect the fees for your choices and ship. You will pay the UPS directly for your shipping costs for ART and FRAGILE ITEMS. We do not charge for delivering the items to the UPS store.
