Striking mid-to-late 20th century art glass bud vase showcasing rich cobalt blue encased within a thick clear crystal mantle in the celebrated sommerso technique. The graceful twisted bottle form rises to a distinctive square diamond-shaped opening, anchored on a square clear pedestal foot. Stands approximately 8.5 inches tall. Style consistent with Murano, Val St. Lambert, or Czech ateliers of the period. Good condition; minor inclusions noted in glass, no chips or cracks. Unsigned.
