Whimsical late-20th century handcrafted terracotta jardiniere featuring a hand-modeled lion and lioness seated in tender embrace around a textured oval planter bowl. Painted accents enliven the shaggy mane, eyes, and noses. Partial "HANDMADE" paper label beneath suggests South American or Mexican artisan origin, circa 1970s-90s. Approx. 9"W x 7"H.
