Striking Art Deco revival sculpture by acclaimed Austin Productions artist Alexsander Danel, signed "A. Danel" and marked AUSTIN PROD INC 1990. Titled "Birdie," this spirited lady golfer stands approximately 16" tall in cold-cast composite with rich bronze and copper patinated finish, dressed in 1920s cap, scarf and plus-fours with original metal club shaft. Wear and minor paint loss to base edges and corners; finish scuffs; figure intact. A coveted Danel subject for collectors.
