Ended Vintage Brutalist Studio Pottery Sculptural Vessel Organic Modern Glazed Stoneware 13.5 In
Sold by Mr. Auction LLC
$12.00
A dramatic, hand-built studio pottery sculptural vessel crafted in an expressive Organic Modern / Brutalist aesthetic. Rising approximately 13.5 inches tall, this piece features an elongated, tapered biomorphic form culminating in a stark, folded asymmetrical rim. The exterior exhibits a heavily textured, pitted iron glaze with mottlings of deep terracotta, charcoal, and metallic bronze tones. The mouth of the vessel displays pooling, glass-like crystalline glazes in soft celadon green and grey.
