Pair of Vintage Chinese Carved Soapstone Table Lamps with Birds and Flowers

This is a pair of mid-20th century Chinese table lamps featuring finely carved soapstone bodies. The stone exhibits a warm, translucent honey-to-peach hue, characteristic of Shoushan stone, and is intricately pierced and carved with traditional motifs including birds, floral blossoms, and foliage. The lamps are mounted on decorative metal bases with a subtle aged patina and are fitted with dual-socket hardware, allowing for versatile lighting. The overall aesthetic reflects the popular mid-century export style, blending traditional Chinese craftsmanship with Western electrical standards. The carving detail is notable, with distinct depictions of birds and floral elements.

Price is for the pair. Size is 23.5"h x 14.5"w (w/shade)
*Note: one of the lamps has a loose screw that the shade fits on. Priced as is.
