Vietri Italian Majolica Coffee / Espresso Set

This is a hand-painted Italian majolica coffee service, likely originating from the Vietri sul Mare region, renowned for its vibrant, rustic ceramic traditions. The set features a coffee pot and six matching mugs, all decorated with intricate, earthy floral motifs in shades of ochre, green, and brown, achieved through a technique that highlights the textured, hand-brushed surface. The underside of the pieces is marked 'Vietri' and 'Dipinto a Mano' (hand-painted), confirming their artisanal production. The aesthetic is characteristic of traditional Mediterranean country-style pottery, emphasizing warmth and organic form.
