1925 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate The Child's Christmas by Achton Friis, 7", no certificate or box, a few indents/marks under plate wire and a blue line on back, also glazing circles on the back.

Every married couple derives a special joy out of the first Christmas of their first-born child. It is true that the child is too young to understand why Christmas is celebrated...too young to enjoy his gifts as he will during later Christmases, but he is not too young to give a new meaning to Christmas for the parents. it is easy to imagine the thoughts of this young couple as they look at the child and his first Christmas tree. They are dreaming of later Christmases...later children...and, too, they are rejoicing for the wonderful things this Christmas time has brought to them. It is a moment they will long remember.
