Condition: Very good
Gene Vidal was a noted aviation pioneer, New Deal official, inventor and athlete. He was also the father of author Gore Vidal. Vidal developed a flow molding process used in these pieces that was later used in building aircrafts.
This particular table was acquired from Vidal by a reporter and then later acquired by a Moorestown NJ family from the estate of that reporter.
The table comes with two side chairs. The set is in good condition for its age and shows some moderate wear consistent with its age and mild use. Until recently the table top was covered with a glass to preserve it.
