Eight matching American Empire period (1830s-1850s) mahogany chairs with gorgeous flame mahogany fronts. They have baluster-form splats and curved sabre legs. Seat covering is in a neutral "spotted" pattern; seat covers are clean but can be recovered easily.
One chair has a crack and repair to the back of the top arch, just above the splat. Another chair has just the start of a split to one side in pretty much the same place.
Each chair 18-1/2" wide x 32" high x 20" deep.

We are selling the final contents of a fine collection of primarily English antiques. A beloved collection, and it must go -- The end of an era so to speak. A large percentage of the antiques are nearing their 200th birthday, a few have already reached it, and the vast majority is already past the 150 year mark. Expect a few signs of normal antique wear; condition noted when there are specifics to call out.
