Bella Feldman - Icarus Prolific artist and long-time and long time professor at California College of Arts. Her work reminds us of the absurdity of our times. Icarus ignored Daedalus's instructions not to fly to close to the causing the beeswax in his wings to melt. He fell to earth to his death into the sea and drowned. The myth gave rise to the idiom "fly too close to the sun."
