The Estate of Amos Hargrave – Master Luthier Pacific Auction is honored to present the estate of Amos Hargrave, one of the most respected and accomplished violin makers ever to emerge from the American violin-making tradition. Amos began his career under the guidance of Peter Prier, remaining with him until 1979 before joining Jacques Francais Rare Violins Inc. in New York. There, he spent three years refining his restoration skills under the legendary René Morel .
