Frank McElwain Limited Edition Signed Offset Lithograph Print "The Queen City Public Landing": A signed limited edition offset lithograph by artist Frank McElwain (born 1942) titled The Queen City Public Landing. This stunning work depicts Cincinnati’s prominence in the late 1800’s, with the shore of the Ohio River teeming with life and activity and bustling with business. In this scene, massive steamboats are seen rolling into port, with the John A. Roebling bridge, opened in 1866, serving as a backdrop. This print is signed in plate as well as in pencil to lower right, and is numbered 185/375. Mounted beneath dual layers of coordinating mats, this print is presented behind glass in a beveled wood frame with a warm finish. Attached is a small working picture light, ready to hang.

Antique English Quarter Sawn Oak Wardrobe: A late-19th to early-20th Century English wardrobe constructed of exquisite quarter sawn oak. This handsome wardrobe was made by Bath Cabinet Makers, in business in England from 1895 until the mid-20th Century, they were known for their handcrafted furniture and fittings for the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth luxury liners. This wardrobe features a resting crown with intricate interlaced marquetry over the cabinet with a center front door, oval mirror and full-width base drawer. The interior of the wardrobe retains the original hanging bars with affixed hooks and a center three-arm hook. The door has an ornate ring pull and lock escutcheon, the drawer has two similar ornate ring pulls. The wardrobe rises on short block legs. Marked to the interior “BCM/HL Registered Design”.

Twenty Antique Books: A group of antique books that includes cloth bound and leather covers. This selection includes four cloth bound books by Edward Bulwer Lytton including The Last of the Barons I and II, and The Last of the Saxon Kings I and II published by Charles Scribner’s Sons, copyright 1902 and 1903; and several leather bound books by authors including Thackeray, George Eliot, Jane Austen, Dumas, Robert Louis Stevenson and Sir Walter Scott published circa 1906 by Thomas Nelson & Sons.

Vintage Federal Style Walnut Writing Desk: A vintage Federal style writing desk. The desk is constructed of wood and walnut veneer with burl details. The desk offers a single upper center drawer flanked by two drawers to each side. Each has ornate knobs and pulls with paneled drawer fronts and dovetail joinery. The desk has ornate applied trim throughout and rises on reeded tapered legs that terminate into small metal casters. The desk retains a partial maker’s label to the back of the piece. Art Nouveau Goose Neck Lamp by Rose Brothers: An Art Nouveau goose neck lamp manufactured by Rose Brothers. The lamp features a cast iron base with floral motifs highlighted by green and gold paint with an adjustable goose neck. The shade is green glass with a round shape and there is a toggle switch to the neck. Marked “R.B.Co. 8626" to the underside of the base.

Bernhardt Furniture For Z Gallerie Sofa: A plush sofa from Bernhardt for Z Gallerie. The sofa features a loose pillow back and two seat cushions upholstered golden tan with brass tack trim accenting padded rolled arms and mahogany stained exposed front frame. The sofa rises on bun feet. Companion chair listed separately as item 17CIN384-015.

Georges Seurat Giclee on Canvas Reproduction "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte": A giclee on canvas after the original painting by well listed French Neo-Impressionist painter Georges Seurat (1859 – 1891) titled Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. The giclee has a textured “brushstroke” finish. The giclee is presented in a beveled wood plein air frame with an antique gold finish, ready to hang.

It is marked on all sides and has carved grooves for handles to the sides. This Cincinnati based company sold small arms ammunition and gunpowder production. The building was built in 1916 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Early 20th Century Piper Montreal Railroad Lantern: An early 20th Century Piper Montreal caboose marker/lantern. The lantern has two red and two blue glass signal lights and is marked to the coal chimney “HLP” and “M” along with “Piper Montreal” along the side.
