Friday, November 15th at 6:30 pm The Friday evening sale opens with a 1995 Jaguar XJ6 four-door sedan, champagne exterior with fine leather and burl wood interior, and less than 50,000 miles, from an important Bloomfield Hills estate; followed by an antique firearms collection from a Franklin, Michigan estate, including an 18th c. blunderbuss coach gun with inlaid silver wire in the stock, numerous Kentucky flintlock and percussion cap rifles, pistols and derringers; and a clock feature including a Gilbert #8 hanging and standing, over 30 lots. From private collectors, over 70 lots of fine jewelry, including 18kt white gold...

Lot#2, SMALL EUROPEAN BLUNDERBUSS, SILVER WIRE INLAYS, LATE 18TH EARLY 19TH C, L 12" BBL,21 1/4'' total length, flintlock, highly engraved stock with elaborate silver wire inlay all over stock and along top of 12'' barrel. No markings as to manufacture

Lot#3, EUROPEAN FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS, 1.00 CAL.,engraved crown over '3' and standing lion figure on lock plate. Barrel is octagonal to round at flared muzzle. Brass overlays on stock at muzzle, brass trigger guard, ram rod rings and butt plate; 2 large sling swivels. C-late 1700's - early 1800's.

Lot#4, KENTUCKY, .38 CAL, PERCUSSION CAP RIFLE, C1840, L 40" BBL,Approximately .38 Cal., 40 1/2'' round barrel, percussion cap, double set trigger, wood ramrod, walnut half stock. Marked: "GEO. GOCECHER", C-1840's. Three football shaped brass inlays in right side of stock in front of hammer, eight inlays (stars, diamonds, crescent moons) surround the round pattern brass patch box. Nine inlays (hearts, arrowheads, stars, moons, football shaped) on the left side of stock, very ornate.

Lot#5,BRITISH - BROWN BESS- THIRD MODEL,Also known as the 'India Pattern." .75 Cal., 38 1/4'' barrel length (may have been cut down from 42'' which was standard length. Iron ramrod, brass hardware. C-1790-early 1800's. Marked: "TOWER / GR (under crown)" on lock plate. Letters "C, S, LA" in front of trigger guard and "L (CA LA?)" on left side of stock.

Lot#6, UNDER HAMMER RIFLE, PERCUSSION CAP, SMITH'S IMPROVED PATENT, C1850,Approximately .38 Cal., 30'' octagon barrel, small brass patch box, minor brass inlay work on both left and right sides, tiger striped wood ramrod. Marked: "SMITH'S IMPROVED PATENT STUD LOCK" on top of frame, newer rear sight. Silvered and engraved trigger guard.

Lot#7, SHARPS, 'NEW MODEL', 1863 RIFLE, .52 CAL, #C31547, L 30" BBL,.52 Cal. Percussion, breech loading rifle, serial number C31547. Marked: "SHARPS RIFLE / MANUFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CONN." and "NEW MODEL 1863." 30" round barrel with three barrel bands;

Lot#8,WINCHESTER, MODEL 1873, LEVER ACTION RIFLE, .32 CAL., L 24" BBL,.32 Cal. Center fire. Marked: "WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS / NEW HAVEN, CONN. / USA" and "KING'S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED MARCH 29, 1866" & "MODEL 1873." Second model 1873. 24" octagonal barrel.

Lot#9, ENFIELD, MODEL 1856 RIFLE, .577 CAL, L 33" BBL,.577 Cal., 33'' round barrel, Marked: "1861 / TOWER" on lock plate, "25X25X25" on barrel and "JOHN MARSON" is stamped on bottom of the stock. Imported for use in the Civil War.

Lot#10, REPRODUCTION FLINTLOCK RIFLE, "BROWN BESS", L 41" BBL,.71 Cal. English Brown Bess reproduction, 41'' BBL maker is unknown although makers serial number is on the musket "4387." Stamped "Tower" on side plate also crown 'GR'.

Lot#11, FRANK WESSON SPORTER MODEL, RIFLE, .38 CAL, L 26" BBL,.38 Cal. Sporter Model. Marked: "FRANK WESSON / WORCESTER, MASS. / F. WESSON'S PATENT OCT. 25, 1859 AND OCT. 11, 1862" on top of 26" octagonal barrel. Twin triggers, with front trigger pivoting opening the barrel to load and unload.
