The Collection of Ken Striker and David Burkhalter Dr. Striker was a leader in the medical and art community in Chattanooga. After serving in the Air Force, Ken became the first director of Pathology at Parkridge Hospital. Twenty years later, Ken helped found Chattanooga’s first blood bank, Blood Assurance, serving as it’s Medical Director. We don’t know how he had the time, but Dr. Striker was also an avid collector and supporter of the art community. Specifically, Ken was involved in the growth and support of the Hunter Museum of Art.
