The historic Ellen Glasgow House will be the site of an extraordinary Estate Sale opening on Thursday, April 8 at 10 AM and running daily through Sunday, April 11 from 10 AM to 4 PM. The house was built in 1841 by tobacconist David Branch in the early Greek Revival style and is on the National Historic Register. The writer, Ellen Glasgow, moved there with her family in 1876 when she was 13 years old. Her novel “In This Our Life” won the Pulitzer Prize in 1941.
