Description
Etching after James Pollard "Fly Fishing" finished in hand colored aquatint on laid paper, published by T.
Helme, London Nov 17, 1831. The composition of two gentlemen in the left foreground with fly rods, casting in
the stream. On the opposite side of the stream are another two men with fly rods, in hand, chatting at the front
of a two story house. The work has been professionally de-acidified and retains a significantly level of its
original depth of color. The work is presented on archival mount and framed with UV filtering glass in a 19th
century English oak molding.
