Hand painted wooden duck decoy of female red breasted merganser by John A. Nelson for Westwood Creations, Dallas, Texas.
Signed & dated 1983 on bottom. Made in 2 pieces - head is removable. Has 2 small glass eyes.
Painted in shades of gray, black, white & green with bright red bill. (Head is dark green) Decoy is 17”L, 6”D, 8” to top of head.
With Westwood Creations brand on bottom.
In GOOD condition with some nicks to paint on top of head. Crackle paint finish is original.
